Hockey

Qualified coaches provide multiple weekly training sessions for both boys’ and girls’ hockey teams. Hockey matches are scheduled according to the various league and cup competition requirements. We enter the Leinster Schools’ league and cup competitions.

The school has an astroturf playing pitch for matches and training sessions. For a relatively small school we have enjoyed considerable success on the Irish schools hockey circuit. This success is in no small way due to considerable dedication and skill of our players and coaches. However, in line with our policy of participating in sport for fun we also have an annual mixed “Rubber Chicken” tournament in which all our hockey boys and girls play.
