The film club is open to all students of St. Kilian’s and the LFI. During the lunch period students get to watch short films, discuss them and learn about different camera angles and perspectives. The weekly meet-up also provides a regular time and space for students interested in making a short film to work on their ideas individually and in groups, as well as gain feedback from their peers.
The coordinating teachers for the film festival, Ms. Kavanagh, Mr. Lacey and Mme. Penny, are also there to offer guidance and assistance to students with their film projects and/or application to our short-film competition “The Kilian’s” held each May in UCD cinema.
