Match Report

 46 boys and girls turned out for our annual Rubber Chicken Tournament. Eight teams competed, made up from Senior boys and girls to sixth class Primary. Two groups of four with the leading teams from each group making the final.

All the games were close and eventually team Ireland and France progressed to the final. Team France were the favourites as they won all their games and they had an extra player. Team Ireland led by Captain Aifric Doherty hit team France on the break with Robin Macarulay speeding forward ably supported by sixth class Primary boy Peter Simms who stopped some rockets from big brother Tom who was excellent at sweeper and not forgetting Minor Captain Jake Nourse. Team France with Shomik Chakraborty, our International keeper, playing at sweeper and Louis Murphy rampaging forward gave team Ireland a run for their money.
