It’s national Active Schools Week and our Kindergarten and Primary School Children from Classes 1 – 6 enjoyed lots of fun activities throughout the week. Big hits were fun games like Rats and Rabbits, Volleyball Nutmeg, Three step only handball, Rock paper scissors tag, Sit down chasing, Giants, Wizards & Elves and Musical statues just to name few. We finished off our this year’s Active Schools Week with a wonderful Yoga-Story-session led by Mr Earls.
As part of Active Schools Week, the PE department in Secondary School also organised a student-teacher Volleyball match involving 12th class students. The match took place on Tuesday during lunch time. Both teams played amazingly well, however, the teachers could not hold their unbeaten record and lost to the students with a final score of 25-12. Well Done to the participating students!
It was a wonderful and enjoyable active week. Thank you to all students and teachers from KG, Primary School and Secondary School!
