On February 26th, 2023, St. Kilian’s Class 4 bussed their way to neighbours St. Andrew’s College to participate in the AIJS P4 Blitz. For several players in the group this was their first hockey trip away from school and their first ‘official’ fixture for the school – and the presence of many parents cheering was such a lift to the whole group.
Mixed results on the day with a win, a few draws, and a couple of losses meant none of the Kilian’s teams progressed to the finals – but a lovely day out and some valuable hockey experience for our 10yr olds on which to build.
