Well done to our TY students and the team of teachers for putting together a fantastic TY Show night on Thursday evening, 18th of May 2023. We had wonderful acts starting off with a musical performance ‘I am still standing’ sung by Maria and accompanied on the piano by Julia and on the electric guitar by Sarah. We also enjoyed three different dance performances by the TY Dance Group, short film montages, created by students during their film module, a hilarious Love Island Teacher’s Edition Sketch, a Poem read and performed in German by the 10 DM Deutsch Group and a Parent v Teacher Sport Quiz. There were also musical interludes. Sarah played ‘Summersong’ on the piano and Sofia and Sasha played ‘Concerto in C Major’ on the Cello and the Piano. The Trio Julia, Sarah and Maria played and sung the song ’99 Luftballons’ followed by the ‘West Side Story’ performed by the TY Drama group. The show finished off with a closing speech by Bill and Robyn. Thank you to Leon and Pablo for being amazing hosts and for keeping the audience entertained. Congratulations to all, it was an evening to remember.
