The International German School in Brussels (iDSB) hosted the 6th European Games / Europaspiele 2024 over the weekend the 20th-22nd of September 2024, to which they welcomed teams from German Schools abroad in Poland, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Ireland and Germany. Over two days several exciting tournaments and competitions in athletics, football, basketball and volleyball took place. Huge congratulations to our team of 11th and 12th class students on finishing 2nd in the overall tournament, with a 1st place in basketball, 2nd place in both athletics and football, and 7th in volleyball. Well done to this group of students and the sport coaches Ms Shannon and Frau Gotthardt. They did the school proud and were a credit to the school showing high levels of effort, work rate and commitment. Thank you to the iDSB for hosting this fantastic event. Well done to all teams who competed in the tournament and congratulations to the winning team from Geneva.
