The season is at the midway point and many of our teams are still in competition. The Under 19s face a Leinster Cup semi-final against Grennan College, Kilkenny in early January after overcoming Presentation College Terenure, Colaiste Lorcain Castledermot and Colaiste Raithin Bray in the previous rounds. However, on the downside, they missed out on qualifying from their group in the league after narrow defeats against CBC Monkstown and St. Michaels.
The Under 17s did, however, qualify from their league group and will face Synge Street in the knockout stages of that competition. In the cup, they will face Gaelcholaiste na Mara in a quarter final tie after defeating St. Tiernan’s and Colaiste Abhainn Adamstown, with the tie scheduled for early January as well.
The Under 15s are enjoying a similar level of success and after their first game cup game victory against Colaiste Abhainn Adamstown, they will face Scoil Chonglais, Baltinglass in the last 16. In the league, they topped their group and will face De La Salle Churchtown in the knockout stages.
The Under 14s are always the last competition to get underway and, to date, they’ve only played one cup game and were convincing winners against Coolock CC. They will face three league group games and the next round of the cup against Colomba College, Killucan early in the New Year.
