A group of 25 students and three teachers from St. Kilian’s and LFI visited Strasbourg to represent Ireland at the Euroscola event in the European Parliament from February 6-8, 2025. The Kilian’s/LFI EU/MUN club delegation joined students from across Europe in a EU decision-making simulation inside the European Parliament and discussed policies on poverty and social inclusion. The joint student-led initiative from St. Kilian’s and LFI had won the Euroscola competition with their entry on the topic of ‘Digital Addiction’ last year and was invited to visit the EU Parliament as part of the prize. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed being a MEP for a day. Thank you to Herr Ringholz, Mr Moore and Frau Reuther for accompanying and supporting the students along their journey.
