Danone Nations Cup
David Durak, class 7, will be a member of the St Josephs team that will represent Ireland this year at the Danone Nations Cup in Poland. The competition’s football ambassador is Zinedine Zidane. His team won the privilege of representing Ireland by emerging as champions of Ireland, after numerous rounds of qualifying stages.
The team leave on September 6th and have been drawn in a group that includes Argentina, Haiti and Austria, in a competition that sees over thirty countries represented. Games will be played at the Warsaw stadium, the venue used for many of the Euro final games.
