Juniors Conquer Mount TempleOur junior boys needing to win to make the league semi-finals produced brill hockey to come out 3/0 winners over Mount Temple . Missing Captain Tom Simms, Hugo Heisterkamp wore the armband with pride leading the line up front and scored a stunning goal to booth. Our back four Andrew Wyatt, Arthur Simms, Daniel Barker and Michael Brennan and ably assisted by keeper Dermot Gleeson held Mount Temple scoreless. In midfield Tristan Molphy had a great game raiding down the right with Louis Murphy on the left and Traloch Butler conducting the play at centre mid. Jake Nourse, our Minor captain, came on at left mid and showed his class. Up Front Robin Macarulay was buzzing down the right wing and causing havoc while Ben McTiernan was roaring down the left with Captain Heisty at centre forward. We created lots of chances and ended the half 1-0 up. It was near the end of the second half when we raised our game and scored two crackers to seal the game 3/0. A deserved win. Well done boys!
