Our under 13 boys had a great win over Mount Temple in their league game Friday 17th November.

Considering we have 5 or 6 Primary boys in the squad, we are doing very well. It was end to end for the first 10 minutes and then sweeper  Louis Prehn started to fire rockets down the pitch with laser accuracy to find men and this put huge pressure on the Mount Temple rear guard. After 12 minutes we scored when Cian Brennan smashed Home a rebound from the keeper to put us 1-0 up. Our back four Louis, Jonas, Ben and Oisin were holding out Mount Temple and when they did get through Benas was excellent in goals rushing out to kick balls away. Our midfield led by Captain Nathan Raffelt-Smyth and ably assisted by Peter Simms and Philip Mikovic kept us on the front foot. In the second half we dominated for long periods and we eventually scored a cracker from a short corner. The ball came out to Louis who switched to Cian Brennan who smashed the ball home and sealed the game at 2-0.

Well Done Boys! Coach Mervyn has the under 13s and Minor boys firing on all cylinders.
