Since moving to our Clonskeagh campus in 1974, St. Kilian’s has grown through multiple expansions. However, the age of our facilities has made significant infrastructure investments necessary to ensure they continue to serve our students effectively.
These essential projects have had a notable impact on our financial reserves. Over the last three years, our reserves have decreased from €2.2 million to €1.2 million as of August 2024. This trend will continue with €400,000 – €500,000 in building-related repair and maintenance costs expected this financial year.
While we anticipate completing the major structural investments this year, we aim to replenish our reserves to secure the school’s financial future. As a charity, the school operates without large annual surpluses, so rebuilding these reserves will take time.
