Wandertag
Wandertag is one of the defining features of our school as a German School. In Germany every class participates in a school trip on a designated day in September and again in June. If possible the trip should incorporate an element of walking hence the name Wandertag but weather does not always permit this! Wandertag is organised by the Class Teachers and is a great way at the start of each school year to bond with new classmates.
Every school year students visit different exciting destinations like for example:
Sealife in Bray
The National Botanic Gardens
Sonairte in Co. Meath
Skerries Mill
Glendalough
The Dublin Zoo
Silver Strand Beach
Newsbridge House, Farm & Adventure Playground
The Airfield Farm in Dundrum
Malahide Castle
Last Wandertag, on 11th of September, our 5a and 5b class spend a wonderful day in Newsbridge House, Farm & Adventure Playground!
