On Wednesday, 5th June the Camel Trophy Tournament, an inter schools soccer competition was held on the Eurocampus.
The St Kilian’s team reached the final of the Camel Tournament after games against the Muslim School, Taney and LFI. Unfortunately, they came up against a strong Holly Park school and had to settle for runners up.
Thanks to Monsieur Allain, PE teacher of St. Kilian’s and LFI, and his team who organised this great event. Special thanks to the 4 Hewlett Packard volunteers, the 20 transition year students from LFI and 4 referees from St Kilian’s 5th class. €1,211.50 was fund-raised on the day for our World Cup project – Brazil, June 2014 – the equivalent of ONE flight ticket to Rio!
