Our Primary School Soccer team rounded off the year with a great cup success against St Marys on Tuesday, winning the game by 1-0. In a close encounter played in UCD, Louis Murphy scored the all-important goal with a fine header from Ethan McGlynn-Levins well delivered free kick. As the final whistle approach, the St Kilian’s keeper, Siddarth Sethuraman, was called into action to maintain their lead, making some fine saves.
Team captain, Oscar Carruthers, lifted the trophy, a cup that hadn’t been won by St Kilian’s since 2007, with our only other victory claimed in 1992.
