Dear Parents
The Sommerfest is nearly upon us and hopefully the sun will shine this year. This is a fun and relaxed day for families to meet other families from the Kindergarten and Primary school. We still have time slots available for parents to help on the day. Please check availability with your class rep or the Sommerfest notice board in the assembly area.
We have lots of things to keep the children amused. There will be bouncing castles, bouncing slides, games, football and tennis on offer. Refreshments, bratwurst and hamburgers, sweets and minerals will be available.
Cake donations are needed. Please leave with Jacinta or Anett in the school office or bring with you on the day.
Your child can make a little pocket money by signing our toy fair sheet and sell their unwanted toys. All monies made are your child’s to keep.
Sign up on the day for the tennis and soccer matches. These will be organised for the children according to their age. Parents bring your soccer boots with you and sign up for the parents match.
Book lists will be available on June 14th and we will provide a meeting area for parents to buy and sell school books. All transactions are on a strictly parent to parent basis and do not involve the school.
To offset the cost of the many activities on offer, we are charging an entrance fee of €4 per child at the gate. Parents are reminded that they are responsible for their children at all times during the Sommerfest.
