The Eurocampus squad met the Irish team on Friday, 30 May at their training headquarters in Malahide prior to their international friendly against Italy. Our pupils had the opportunity to see the full training session and see the press conference at pitchside.
Then, they had the opportunity to rub shoulders with the Irish players, which included Kevin Doyle, who wished us good luck, for the second time, in our quest to win the World Cup!! Finally, it was our turn to meet the team manager, Martin O’Neill, who, despite being under pressure to catch a flight to London with his team, took time out to chat with the group, pose for photos, sign as many items as possible and wish us good luck in Brazil.
