Junior A Girls Away v Beaufort
Our junior A girls went down 4-0 to Loreto Beaufort on Friday, 10th of October in the A league. Despite the loss we played really well. We are playing at the highest level and it’s a big ask for our girls. Missing Ellen Kane was another blow. We changed the team around for this game. Sasha Kelly and Grettel Garrigous played at left back and right back. Ailbhe O’Connor went to centre midfield which allowed our Captain Nina Heisterkamp to attack.
We had a couple of great chances to score but on the day they did not go in. Juliette had a great game in goals. The team worked really hard. The score did not reflect the game.

Junior A Boys v St. Andrews
Our Junior boys had a great game against a very strong St. Andrews A side on Friday, 10th of October. Their team is packed with Leinster and Irish under 16 players. We went 2-0 down in the first half and came storming back in the second half and were unlucky not to score. The team was led by Captain Dan Raymond who had a great game at centre mid. He was ably assisted by David Noone and Cillian Bourke. Up front Conor McCrea ran himself into the ground. Sasha Kuechenmeister and left wing Cathal Kelly put in a great shift. Frankie Witte came on at left back and had a stormer. Our back four Frankie, Khalid, Hugh Perrette and Max Murphy were excellent in the second half. We also had two great keepers in Alex Henry and Shomik Chackroburty.
