Kenneth McDonnel, past pupil of St. Kilian‘s and film graduate held a very informative interesting workshop last Thursday, 23rd of January for those students entering St. Kilian‘s first ever annual short film festival „ Kilian‘s filmt“ to be held on the 8th May 2014.
Students were guided through the key elements of script writing and cinematography and were kitted out with a host of tips on how to make a good film. All the students enjoyed the two hour workshop immensely and are keen to continue meeting every two weeks to receive guidance and support throughout their film making endeavours. The St. Kilian‘s film club has thus been brought to life and will take place every second Thursday from 4pm-6pm in E12. With the support of film interested colleagues, former Kilian‘s students in the film industry and film experts we hope to nurture and build on the creativity and film interest amongst our students.
