St. Kilian’s German School Dublin and the Lycée Français d’Irlande (LFI) cordially invite you to attend our annual Elysée Treaty Debate which will be held on Wednesday, 25th March 2015 at 7:30 pm in the Assembly Area of the Eurocampus Roebuck Road, Clonskeagh, D14.
We are delighted to announce that this year’s debate will be chaired by Mr. Peter Mathews TD and will deal with the European topic “Europe is losing its influence in the world of today”. Afterwards there will be a reception in the school canteen.
The Elysée Treaty Debate 2015 will be hotly contested by the 11th class students of St. Kilian’s and the LFI. The debate will be held in English and will stimulate a European Union Committee meeting. The prize will again be a three-day trip to Brussels for the winning team. Our gratitude goes to both the German and French embassies for their support for this competition that gives the senior students of both schools the opportunity to work together.
The annual Elysée Treaty Debate allows students to focus on Europe and our role as Europeans in the world today in keeping with the Eurocampus project.
This event is supported by the Embassy of Germany and the Embassy of France, and we also acknowledge the generous sponsorship of the CRH plc.
