Class 9C has recently organised a “Fun Run” in aid of the Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA) and was able to raise €250 for the charity. In turn, Gillian Bird from the DSPCA came to the school yesterday to accept the donation and to talk to the class about the charity’s work. She also presented her African pet snail and gave some interesting facts about it.
