On Tuesday, 4th of March 2015, our Primary School students visited the exhibition “Mathematik zum Anfassen” at the Goethe Institute in Dublin. This interactive exhibition has been curated by Mathematikum Gießen in 2013 and aims to create a new approach towards mathematics.
It has already been shown in several countries of Europe, America and Asia. Visitors of all ages, math lovers and math haters can touch and approach mathematics in different experiments, using puzzles and bubbles. Under the theme “hands on” it truly invites the visitors to understand one of the oldest sciences by the senses and to deal with it in a playful and emotional way. Our students certainly enjoyed exploring the mystery of mathematics.
