For their new film, working title: “Three Peaks“, directed by the young director Jan Zabeil, the German Rohfilm production company is looking for an English and German speaking boy aged 5-8 who grew up bilingual to play in a main role on the side of the actor Alexander Fehling. Filming period is in autumn 2015 in South Tyrol.

Rohfilm is a German independent production company with offices in Berlin and Leipzig. Founded in 2005 by Karsten Stöter and Benny Drechsel. Rohfilm develops and finances feature films and documentaries for international cinema audiences whereas its focus is on stories with strong cinematic conviction as well as finding and fostering filmmakers with distinctive talent.
Jan Zabeil was born in Berlin. During the years 2003 to 2009 he studied camera at the Academy of Film and Television “Konrad Wolf” in Potsdam-Babelsberg. In 2006 he took part in the Berlinale Talent Campus. Jan Zabeil is one of the promising young directors. His feature film debut as a director is “The river was once a man” (2011) which has also been awarded with the Young Talent Prize German Film and the New Directors Award. His last short film “We will stay in touch about it” has been presented in 2015 at the Max Ophüls Prize Short Film Competition.
