On Wednesday March 25th, our Primary school soccer team competed in the annual FAIS 5-a-side competition in Irishtown Stadium. In a five team group, they recorded wins against Dominican School Dun Laoghaire (6-0), St’ Patrick’s Chapelizod (3-0), St. Anne’s Fettercairn (0-0) and St’ Laurence O’Toole CBS (2-3). Unfortunately, only one team qualified from the group to advance to the Leinster finals and we finished second. Our goals were scored as follows – Marc Garrigos 5, Wataru Mato 3, Robert Scanlon 2 and Jake Nourse 1 – with Tristan Spellman-Molphy not scoring but being excellent in defence, as was our goalkeeper, Lucas Kelly-Voigt. All well done!
