We are very proud to be able to offer the Sprachdiplom Exam in St. Kilian’s. It is based on the Common European Framework for Language Acquisition. The exam will be offered in the two levels of proficiency of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
A 2: The student can communicate in simple and routine situations and exchange information on familiar matters.
B 1: The student can produce simple connected texts on familiar interest areas and give reasons and explanations for dreams, hopes, plans and opinions.
Success in the exam will lead to preparation for the Sprachdiplom 2 (corresponds to Levels B 2 and C 1) exam in class 12. Success in Sprachdiplom 2 shows, that a student has the linguistic ability to pursue a degree course at a German Third Level Institution. The Sprachdiplom 2 is thus not only a valuable certificate for future employers that shows a high proficiency in the German language, it will also be very useful if students intend to study in a German speaking country, may- be as part of an Erasmus Year.
