We’re delighted to receive and share the news that young filmmaker Ben Schönfeld (7th class) will be participating in the upcoming final of the Fresh Film festival awards, a film competition for young filmmakers in Ireland next Thursday. Ben recently made it through the Dublin/Leinster heat of the competition with his film “Sandman” and also received the audience choice award at the screening. Ben’s talent for film making is no news here at St. Kilian’s – he scooped the audience award at each of the last two “Kilian’s” festivals and also won a “Nofix” award at the final of the Nordeuropa filmt festival (film competition for German schools abroad) held in Hannover last November. What an achievement – well done Ben and the very best of luck in the finals!
