Congratulations to the 11th class debating team! They won their last debate in the Concern league competition against St. Benildus College by proposing that the Sustainable Development Goals are doomed from the start.
Ably captained by Hugh Perrette, team- mates Marcella Gonzalez, James Wyatt and John Joel Boles all argued persuasively that the SDGs were unrealistic in their aspirations and vague on their implementation in a very tight timescale of 15 years. They were particularly strong in their rebuttal of the opposing team’ s arguments.
