Congratulations to the 11th class Concern Debating team who have qualified to the final knock-out rounds of the competition. They finished in the top 24 teams from the 150 participants nationwide. A great achievement for Hugh Perrette, Marcela Gonzalez, David Noone and Nikolai Gladyshev. They were supported in research and as speakers by James Wyatt, John Joel Boles, Nick Carswell, Cillian Corcoran, Patrick Junghenn, Blaithin Sheehan and Nicholas Weafer. A great team effort by all concerned!
The team expects the next round to be on Monday, 29th February, on the motion that “The notion that population growth will destroy the planet is nonsense”.
