Katie Clissmann (11th class) has been selected by Green Schools to be one of about 25 Leinster Green School Ambassadors. Katie will be representing our school at meetings and training days with other Green School Ambassadors to discuss our goals, ideas and share resources.
Katie applied for this position because she is interested in helping the environment in any way she can and she wants to share her knowledge and interest in this area with other students.
Our Green School here at St. Kilian’s is currently working towards the Travel Flag (4th flag). We have carried out a survey on how students travel to school and we have established a huge increase in people cycling to school. Furthermore we are preparing a stand for the St. Kilian’s Christmas Bazaar at which we want to raise awareness, do quizzes and sell various Green School related goods.
