Every year St. Kilian’s takes part in the musical spectacular “Kinder musizieren” and “Jugend musiziert”. It is a competition organised by the Deutscher Musikrat in Munich, Germany.
All the information about these annual music competitions is now displayed on a board in our Assembly area, along with the application forms and we would like to encourage as many students as possible to take part. Kinder Musizieren in not a competition where the children compete against each other, but rather an opportunity for them to present a finished work in front of a friendly audience, to the best of their ability. It is a unique occasion for all musicians in the school, from any level. There is a great atmosphere and demonstration of talents, not to be missed!
The event will take place on 19th and 20th January 2017 and will end with an evening concert in which some of the children will be asked to perform.
