A group of our students attended the Digital School Champion training day at the Carlton Hotel on 12th December. This was the first of the training days and industry visits which are organised as part of a new initiative which was introduced by the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Skills.
The School Digital Champion Programme was run on a pilot basis last year and has now been launched nationally. Selected students will make a project that shows how digital technology can help local enterprise, local community and school/home.
