The Green-Schools Expo, Ireland’s first environmental expo for schools took place in the RDS on Thursday, 25th February and our school was invited to take a stall to present their projects on the topic of ‘Water’ for which we received our third Green Flag last year and which we officially (and symbolically) raised recently.
Seven representatives of our Green School and Transition Year students volunteered to spend the day at the RDS to inform students from other schools from all over Ireland about our “green” initiatives to date. President Michael D. Higgins and his wife Sabina talked to some exhibiting schools and our students got a chance to meet with them.
