Max McCabe and Cillian Purser have just returned from Helsinki with a NOFIX Award under their belt. Well done. The boys had travelled to Helsinki, together with Ms. Kavanagh, to take part in a two-day creative workshop for storytelling and dramaturgy which led up to this year’s Nordeuropa filmt competition, a cooperation between several German Schools in Europe.
Only three NOFIX prizes were awarded in total; the other two went to the DS Prague and DS Helsinki.
Max and Cillian were part of the team who won Best Film in the senior category of our own film festival, “The Kilian’s” in May 2016
