After receiving their Junior Certificate results on 14th September 2016, our Transition Year students headed straight to the Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre. This trip has been part of the Transition Year programme at St. Kilian’s for several years and gives students an opportunity to celebrate their achievements in the Junior Cert, as well as getting to know each other at the beginning of the school year in a fun and challenging environment.
The Centre had some exciting activities lined up for our students that included kayaking, a bog run, electronic orienteering, a nature walk and an obstacle course.
There are some fabulous pictures of our TY students from their trip to Tanagh available on the FB site of the Tanagh Outdoor Education Centre: https://www.facebook.com/TanaghOEC/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1179439635451140
