Anna Seidl, young German author came to our school on 20th May 2016 to read from her debut book “No Heroes” (original title: “Es wird keine Helden geben”) which was translated into English by Siobhán Parkinson, one of Ireland’s best known authors of books for children and teenagers.
Students and teachers were gripped by the story of the aftermath of a rampage in a school which is told from the perspective of 15-year-old Miriam and deals intensely with the topics of guilt and grief.
