The annual end-of-year hockey blitz for the Primary School took place on 29th and 30th March 2017. During this tournament every team plays three games; there are two sections and the winner for each section goes into the final.
In the tournament for 5th and 6th class, Germany played Switzerland in the final with the eventual winner being Switzerland. They scored with 30 seconds to go, winning 1-0. The winning team consisted of Natalia McCullagh-Travers, Paul Otterbach, Maite Jacoby, Finn Adler, Federico Ruiz Montoya and Killian McCoole.
In the tournament for 3rd and 4th class, the winning team was Ireland, consisting of Sarah, Alannah, Christopher, Neasa, Olivia and Roman.
