On 15th February 2017, parents were invited by Kindergarten Group C to see a presentation of the children’s project on the five senses that they had been working on for the past few weeks.
During this project the children got to know the five senses more closely through various experiments and games. As the sense of sight very much dominates the children’s everyday lives, they were encouraged to perceive their environment intensely with all their senses. For example, during a taste test, we arranged food according to the different taste areas. Through a “smell memory game”, the children got to know new fragrances and learned how to distinguish them.
The children had a lot of fun learning the new song “Alle meine Sinne” (“All my Senses”), which was also presented to the parents. We are very proud of our sense wall, which was part of the project and on which all five senses are represented.
Thanks for the great cooperation and the support of the parents.
