Our senior boys had an excellent win over Sandford Park in the Senior Trophy competition. With goals coming from 5 different players, the lads showed how good they can be. Captain Dan Raymond led the team with distinction and David Noone caused havoc with his pace down the right. Cillian Burke had a stormer at left midfield. Alex Henry was relaxed in goals. Our back four held the opposition scoreless. Sam Staunton played right back and made some great runs down the right. Andrew Wyatt had a great game at left back. Shomik and Samuel Norse were rock solid and goals were scored by Sasha Küchenmeister, Cillian Bourke, Conor McCrea, Daniel Lynch and Shomik Chakraborty.
The lads are now into the semifinal of the Trophy – well done boys.

Goal of the game: Sasha Kuechenmeister’s goal which was a great team goal with Sasha stealing in on the back post to slot home.
Man of the match: David Noone who tormented the opposition with his pace.
