Jugend musiziert is a very special event at St. Kilian’s and we are lucky to have such a great number of students who are keen to present their musical talents each year. The 2017 competition for Kinder musizieren and Jugend musiziert took place on 19th and 20th January this year. 35 children from the Primary School and nine students from the Secondary School took part.
The highlight was the concert on the evening of the second day of the competition where a number of students of various age groups performed either on their own or in small groups that were only put together that day. There were also performances of our dance groups and the Primary School Choir.
A special thanks to Ms Brennan and Ms Thielemans for all the effort they put into this event; to Peter Adams from the German Embassy for presenting the prizes; to the German Embassy for sponsoring the reception after the concert and to all the students and staff who were involved in JuMu this year and made it the fantastic event that it was.
