On 28th March 2017 parents of Kindergarten Group D were invited to attend a performance of the play Room on the Broom which has been rehearsed by the children with Kindergarten Intern Josy Buhrmann. Here is her account of the project:
As part of my training, I have practised the play Room on the Broom with the children to promote social and self-competence. Over the course of eight weeks we created the stage set together, made costumes, practised a song and rehearsed twice a week, until the big day was finally there and the parents all came to watch. The performance was a great success and the children were very proud to be on stage. It was a lot of fun for me to work with the children and to see how the initial chaos developed into such a great performance.
