St. Kilian’s were presented with their 4th Green Flag for “Travel” – a fantastic achievement by our Green School and the whole school community who got involved in the various projects run throughout the school year.
A small representative of the Green School Committee and Ms Dobey attended the flag ceremony in the Helix, DCU on 24th May. There were 100s of students in attendance from schools all over Dublin. The students listened to some excellent speakers talking about green issues, including our very own Katie Clissmann (11th class) who is a Green School ambassador for An Taisce. She spoke excellently, talking of her experience as ambassador over the last year and encouraging other students to apply for the role in the future. We were then presented with the flag on stage which Shervin, Isabel and Vidya collected on behalf of the school.
