St Kilian’s Transition Year students got the opportunity to experience a Chinese Language and Culture workshop on Thursday, 30 November 2017. The full morning workshop was organised by Ms. Holloway in conjunction with the Confucius Institute UCD. The students learned how to greet each other in Chinese as well as participating in Taiji, Calligraphy, Chinese paper cutting, and Chinese knots. The students also got the opportunity to try Chinese musical instruments and to learn how to sing Chinese folk songs.
Afterwards the students expressed their delight in having participated and were willing to share their experiences.
