On 22nd May it was time to bid farewell to the class of 2018. Graduation evening is always a very happy but also emotional occasion for students as they move on to a new stage in their lives. Ten of this year’s 12th class students had spent the last 14 years of their lives at St. Kilian’s and were presented with presents by Dorothee Schmid, Chair of the Board of Management.
It was a fantastic evening for all, with prizes, speeches, musical performances and videos. Our guest speaker this year was Iggy McGovern, poet and physicist.
Congratulations to all the prize winners and in particular to Lia Schaffer who received the Student of the Year academic award and to Ciara Connolly who received the award for Outstanding Contribution to the School.
A huge thank you goes to our two Schulsprecher, Ciara Connolly and Killian Conyngham, for their huge contribution to their class and the whole school during their year as head of the Student Council.
We wish all our students the best of luck in their futures and hope that you will stay in touch.
