Students from the 7th class Green School Committee attended the 9th Eco-Conference at Dun Laoghaire County Hall on Wednesday 24th January 2018.
They participated in a number of activities which included a fun interactive game that challenges students’ thinking on how world trade might be conducted. They also attended some interesting and thought-provoking lectures on trees, plants and coastal erosion given by Richard Curran from An Taisce and Dr. Michelle Murray from Trinity College. At the end, the students showed great ability in presenting their own work.
The students also went to see an exhibition at the Lexicon Library Dun Laoghaire on how recycled materials can be used to make art.
