The exchange students from Cologne spent a wonderful week in Dublin. They explored the city, visited important sights such as the Famine Ship Jeanie Johnston and the Book of Kells at Trinity College. The girls were particularly impressed by Glendalough which they visited in perfect weather conditions.
One student wrote: “I really enjoyed the exchange, especially since it was my first time in Dublin and Ireland, and my host sister and her parents were really friendly and I definitely want to keep in touch.”
A big thank you goes to Herr Sundermann and Frau Kayser, to all parents, host families and students who were involved in this successful first student exchange between St. Kilian’s German School and the Liebfrauenschule in Cologne.
