Congratulations to the 11th class Concern Debating Team! They won the fourth round of this national debate against St Benildus College by successfully proposing the motion that For women to access leadership positions, gender quotas must be implemented.
It was an unanimous verdict from the judges in what proved to be an excellent debate about a topical issue. Audience participation from parents and students was lively and engaging and provided a most enjoyable evening for all in attendance.
The team was captained by Leah Fellenz who was supported by her classmates, Aisling Burns, Isabel Van Der Voort and Siddarth Sethuraman who stepped in at a few hours notice to replace Oscar Toomey who was unavailable on the night. Well done to all concerned.
