On 14th December we organised a whole school Christmas Jumper Day for charity.
The Primary School raised funds for Multiple Sclerosis Ireland, a national organisation that provides information, support and advocacy services to the MS community and was able to raise €653 in total.
The St. Kilian’s and LFI Secondary Schools joined their efforts to raise money for The Gavin Glynn Foundation which helps sick children getting treatment abroad.
A large number of students and staff participated by wearing their Christmas jumpers and making a donation. The Primary School teachers made a particular effort and we have high hopes for their photograph to win the “team effort” prize in a competition run by MS Ireland.
