On 9th May 2018 the students of our Sek1 pilot group were presented with certificates by the German Ambassador Deike Potzel, confirming the successful completion of the Sek1 programme.
These 12 students of 10th class (TY) were the first to opt into our newly introduced German Curricular Stream (Sek1) back in 2015 and they successfully tackled the many challenges of the programme. They have persevered and outgrown themselves and were highly praised by Ms Lynch and Frau Adelberger for their efforts and achievements. They also thanked the students’ parents for their trust and support over the past three years.
The Ambassador encouraged the students to keep up the German language and pointed out the many career opportunities for bilingual people in Europe.
