Children, parents and teachers from Kindergarten through to 2nd class celebrated the St. Martin’s event on 9th November.
After the singing of “Laterne, Laterne”, “Ich gehe mit meiner Laterne” and other traditional St. Martin’s songs, the children took their lanterns for a procession around the school before heading back to their classrooms for treats and traditional fun. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and the lantern procession could therefore not take place outdoors.
A big thank you goes to all teachers and parents who were involved in organising this event. We are particularly grateful to all the parents who helped with baking of gingerbread men and to Anne Thielemans for the choir and Junior Orff performances.
